Let a timer run to zero. Cancelling a timer early doesn't hatch anything. Pausing is fine — the egg picks up where it left off.
Rarity is weighted by how long the timer was. Short timers hatch common animals; long ones have a real chance at rare and legendary. A timer under five minutes can only ever produce a common animal.
Duplicates happen, but not endlessly: after several hatches at a rarity with nothing new, the next one at that rarity or above is guaranteed to be an animal you don't have yet.
Twelve animals — three of each rarity, legendaries included — are free forever. The other seventy-two are opened by a single purchase in Settings › Collection ($4.99 in the US; the price shown in the app is the one for your region). There is no subscription and no in-game currency, and buying it never changes the odds within a rarity.
Settings › Collection › Restore Purchases, while signed in to the same Apple Account. The purchase is also Family Sharing enabled.
Check Settings › Notifications › Eggleton on your device. If notifications are off, the timer still runs correctly and finishes on time — you just won't be told while the app is closed.
Yes. Settings has Reduce Motion and Reduce Flashing switches, and separate switches for sound and haptics. The app also follows your system Reduce Motion setting.
Not today — the collection lives on each device. The purchase restores everywhere; the animals you've hatched do not travel yet.
Delete the app. Everything it stored goes with it. There is nothing stored anywhere else.
